I take the privilege and pride to convey that under the custody and care of Dr Jaspreet Singh Sandhu, my health issue of a detected Renal Carcinoma was successfully treated by him in Mar 2020. My sense of well being was steadily and immensely regained after a deft and neat surgery that was carried out by him and am immensely grateful for it. Post surgery, his regular and personal attentions and professional expertise as a surgeon all came together into wholesome treatment of a patient of which I was one, now hale and hearty. Dear Sir/Madam, I Cdr. Bhaskar Bandyopadhyay, was suffering from a Radical Prostate problem. I consulted Col. J.S Sandhu at Command Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal (May2021). He explained to me the entirety of the situation and elaborated on the methods we could approach that would be beneficial for my health in the future. After a thorough investigation and several tests, he advised me to undergo an operation for the same. He carried out the operation and took proper care and measures in my post-recovery at the hospital. His years of experience and guidance made it possible for me to trust him and go through this process. Overall, I could say I was in the best hand possible and was able to trust his expertise without any doubt. Under his care and support, I recovered steadily. I will always have the utmost gratitude for him and wish him luck with his future endeavours. Thanks and Regards, Cdr. Bhaskar Bandyopadhyay.

Dr Sandhu is an outstanding Dr and more importantly a magnificent Human Being. I was operated for Kidney Stone by him in the mid of COVID first wave in Apr-May 2020. I had reported to him as an emergency case with 12 mm stone stuck in my urethra. The COVID protocol was extremely strong that time but he made me extremely comfortable and without fearing his personal safety, Dr Sandhu started the initial diagnosis on Day 1. As luck could have it, I was detected COVID positive on Day 3. But, he kept counseling me on phone throughout and helped me keep calm. He further assured me that he will start my treatment on the Day am out of Quarantine, which he did without any apprehension (COVID was still an unknown Taboo at that time). That explains his commitment towards his patients. Coming on to his professional acumen, the procedure of URS was done extremely smoothly. I didn't had to take a single painkiller after the procedure. Stent was removed 10 days later and I was discharged the a day after removal of stent ie 12 May 2020. Today, after 2 years, I have not faced any problem and didn't had to refer to any Dr. I can't thank Dr Sandhu enough because only I know what mental state I was going through when he supported me. Thankyou Sir.

Dr ( Retd Col) JS Sandhu operated on my father in law at Command Hospital Kolkata. My father in law was suffering from Bladder Cancer. Not only did Col Sandu did an exceptionally good job with the surgery ( the whole urinary tract was removed and external stoma was created which was covered with urine collection bag) but also played a vital role in boosting his morale and accepting this change. Fortunately, the doctor happened to live next door. He would meet papa in elevator every now and then and enquire about his well being. This always used to lit papa up. Battling cancer is always tough but if you are lucky enough to have humane and skilled doctor like Col Sandhu, this battle becomes little easy. Thank you doctor. Will forever be indebted to you.

2 weeks agoNEW Our association with Dr JS Sandhu dates back to 2015 - 16 when we came to Lucknow for treatment of my wife for end stage CKD (IgA Nephropathy). My mother in law inspite of being in her sixties had kindly agreed to donate a kidney. Dr JS Sandhu had played a very instrumental role as a mentor for both my wife and mother in law and kept boosting their morale all along the course of treatment. He was a very busy Urologist attending hundreds of patients everyday in OPD as also successfully operating dozens of critical cases every week. We have never seen him losing his patience and cool and has always been instilling hope, optimism and confidence in the patients. That was how he was so popular amongst his patients that on his posting out from Lucknow to Kolkata, there was a sudden lull in the Urology department for urology and nephrology care. Every one missed Dr Sandhu badly. My wife was operated for Renal Transplantation as a recipient by Dr JS Sandhu on 17 Feb 2017. So was my mother in law as a donor also operated by him. These operations were critical and time consuming. But Dr JS Sandhu was a God sent surgeon for us. Both the surgeries were very successful. But that was not the end. Dr Sandhu also supported us by his tireless post operation treatment. Our successful surgery was very special to us as it saved our family. Had he not been there I am afraid what would have been our future. It has been five years since the transplantation was done. I am happy to say both my wife and my mother in law are doing well and are in good health. What was a journey of lifetime for us was just a mile stone for Dr Sandhu. He continued with his never dying spirit and conducted numerous surgeries and saved lives of hundreds of servicemen and their families. God has been kind to us. We had the opportunity to meet Dr Sandhu again in Kolkata. Here also, we heard very good things and appreciation about Dr Sandhu. He also continued to look after my wife and mother in law in the same spirit. In Dr Sandhu, we found both a professionally very sound and expert surgeon as well as a noble and humble human being. He is not only a great surgeon for his patients and their families but he is also a great friend, philosopher and guide. We are so fortunate to have a selfless, proficient and dedicated doctor like him.
